An isolated batch of P351 Masks, imported by Portwest in Europe and UK, and manufactured by a third-party have recently been identified as marginally failing the filter penetration test. Under EN 149:2001, 1% is the permitted tolerance for filter penetration. Test results on this batch show that the filter penetration for the affected batch is measuring at 1.16% and 1.88%. This affected batch is no longer available for sale from Portwest.

There have been no reports of personal injury relating to this product, and no other products are affected.

Current stock and current production have been tested extensively with external, qualified EU accredited laboratories, and all test results show filter penetration levels well below 1%. Any customer or end user with stock of P351 from this batch is asked to remove them from sale or use.
